Renovation of a social house in Zlobice

Idea projektu

The main idea was to sensitively restore the historic part of the building and replace the non-original elements with new - existing ones. Furthermore, to design an extension and the building of the municipal office according to the nature of the seat, but modern with inspiration in the existing building. Part of the extension and the building of the municipal office is set into the slope, which enabled the use of a green counter roof in individual parts and the connection of the building to the adjacent terrain. At the municipal office there is a water area, which must be preserved here, due to the pumping of groundwater from the building. This water element was rebuilt and became part of the architectural expression of the municipal office building. In these places, an artistic element is designed with a wall that is visible from the glass wall of the mayor's office. Emphasis was placed on the use of facade materials and a restored staircase. The historical part will be plastered in light natural tones of colors. The extension together with the municipal office will have the same shade, but different structures. The embedded staircase together with the garage door will form a contrast to the facade of the house. These constructions are designed from sheet metal - dark brown color. The newly designed fillings of the openings were worked with inclined lining and frameless glazing of windows. In the 1st floor house has a ballroom, hall, bar with facilities, multipurpose room and talk room. The 2nd floor is designed as 2 apartments, where 1 is intended for the building administrator. The extension of the social house is one-storey. There are toilets accessible from the social house and workshop, living room, sanitary facilities, storage and garages accessible from the yard. The municipal office is designed as a 2nd floor. On the 1st floor there is an entrance hall, a ceremonial hall, toilets and 3 offices, where 1 is a more spacious duplex for the mayor with a place for council meetings. On the 2nd floor there is an office accessible by stairs from the mayor's office. The buildings are optimally lit thanks to the suitably chosen arrangement of windows and skylights.

The topic of the studio work is the elaboration of a monumental restoration, including a proposal for a new use of the former social house number 13 and the adjacent picnic area in Zlobice. The traditionalist building is on the square in the historic center of the village. The destination is in a terraced rural development used on the site of an older house. Today's state does not correspond to your opinion Nor the state of the representative function of the municipality. Project of monitoring the integration of buildings into the environment of the reserved area Zlobice in the context of the surrounding structure of the built-up area. The scope and type of proposed interventions in a given place respect the importance of the object. The social house, including the newly available ports, will be used by all citizens of the community who trust and social groups, citizens of productive age, seniors, students and young people. The building is prepared clearly and without movement on immobile persons with limited mobility. Summary of the history and construction stages of the site The social house in Zlobice was built in the 1920. Originally it had only the 1st floor and served as a local inn. Later, the building was rebuilt into a two-storey social house. At the turn of the 20th and 21st century, a part with social facilities and an apartment for administrators was added to the building. During this period, the 2nd floor was also reconstructed and 3 flats were built here, one of which is original and in very good condition. Most of the window and door panels are preserved in the social house. They are also preserved and are valuable floors made of concrete tiles on the 1st floor and 2nd floor, terrazzo at the front door and on the stairs. The extension, which was added to the building in the 1990s, is partly disruptive and suitable for reconstruction. The airfield, located to the west, was used for events, parties and meetings of citizens. It is currently not used in any way and is in a dilapidated state. The solved object has a very well-preserved construction and fillings of openings, especially on the 1st floor. For this reason, no major construction modifications were required. The 2nd floor is rebuilt mainly above the social hall, where one comfortable apartment was created, which is accessible by an outdoor staircase. This staircase was the subject of renovation and also the processing of the author's detail. The second apartment on the 2nd floor, which was in very good condition, required only minor structural and layout modifications. The extension from the 1990 is completely unsatisfactory in terms of layout and construction. For this reason, it has been replaced by a new one. Urban solution The aim of the proposal is to renovate the existing social house, which is supplemented by an extension in which there is a sanitary facility, a warehouse, a living room, a workshop and a garage, and a new municipal office building. Furthermore, the picnic area, which is rebuilt into a place suitable for feasts and other social events. A podium with space for dancing, hygienic facilities, an occasional bar and a new fire station were designed here. Emphasis was placed on the best possible use of the land, the completion of the courtyard according to the structure of the village and the logical arrangement of individual operations. The forecourt of the social house could serve as a village square, as the municipality currently lacks this public space. The revitalized area will be supplemented with new greenery in the form of mature trees, shrubs and similar cultures that fit into this environment. The terrain of the plot is slightly sloping.

Technické informace

The construction system of the newly designed buildings is a monolithic wall. The roof of the buildings will be concrete in combination with the green roof without overlap and should, from a human point of view, be connected to the outer surface of the walls. The construction material will be a liapor-concrete mixture tinted to a light shade. Water drainage will be solved by a gutter.
