Idea projektu
The main idea of my project is to rebuild and / or redesign existing buildings, use natural tones for facades and keep the original greenery. The THÉÂTRE POPULAIRE complex is divided into 3 zones - WORK, LABO and SHOW. When creating the design, I emphasized the observance of local culture and traditions, that is, the use of as many painted patterns typical of the state of Burkina Faso. The pattern used on facades is typical for african village called Cour Royale de Tiébélé- Nahouri, Burkina Faso. In the design, I try to be as consistent as possible with nature and the environment, so I use as many natural and available materials for the area. I also try to adapt the design to the local climate by looking for ways to aerate the rooms as much as possible and cool them at the same time. As for facades, I prefer the use of natural colors and tones complemented by typical patterns. In my design, I tried to preserve as many of the original buildings as possible, and I managed to preserve all the original trees, which create a pleasant shade and a kind of natural obstacle to the movement of people.
Popis projektu
In my design, I divided the area into 3 some imaginary parts according to the given zones. The LABO zone, which stretches at the bottom of the plot, together with the adjacent accommodation, creates a square where visitors can get closer to the work of actors and dancers, and at the same time the workers have sufficient privacy. In the middle part of the plot, I expected the largest concentration of visitors in a large area, so I left as much greenery there as possible and designed a paved area for stands, toilets and SHOW zone rooms, which are intended mainly for visitors. The WORK zone is located at the northern boundary of the plot, close to the road, which is advantageous in terms of the arrival of trucks and also so that the backstage is as far away from visitors as possible. By this layout of buildings, I naturally defined the boundaries of the plot. I also respond to the outside environment by distributing the buildings, by connecting the inputs to locally used roads. The construction of the amphitheater occupies the largest area among other buildings and is the only one with an irregular shape. I decided to keep it and make it the dominant feature of the space, whether in height or shape. That's why I designed all the buildings in the simplest possible shapes. The entrance to the public area is located on the southwest side and is secured by turnstiles, where visitors can buy tickets for performances played outside the amphitheater or enter the cafe, which also includes a showroom. The entrance is covered and a natural barrier is created by a side cafe and rooms from the LABO zone. Another natural obstacle in guiding the visitor's movement is the two trees directly opposite the entrance. At the amphitheater there are 2 more offices with the sale of tickets for performances burned behind the walls of the amphitheater and places with stalls. For employees, there are entrances on the south (next to the classrooms) or north (next to the amphitheater) so that they are as close as possible to the place of operation. The land of the amphitheater is located on a flat plot and single-storey and two-storey buildings predominate in the area, so I adapt to the height level of the buildings around the amphitheater.
Technické informace
The roofs of buildings are laid using a truss structure or reinforced concrete / wooden columns. Reinforced concrete columns are 300 mm thick, wooden columns are 200 mm thick. The columns are placed about 1000 mm underground. The roofs are single-skinned and double-skinned, the perimeter load-bearing walls are made of fired bricks 250/300 mm thick. In particular, a wall support system is used, but there is also a combined one. The heights of the buildings are in the range of approx. from 3000 mm to 12,500 mm. Of interest is the classroom building, which is perforated on the north and east sides to ensure the supply of air and light to the classrooms and has an open roof to circulate as much fresh air as possible. In terms of materials, natural and readily available materials are used in particular, such as fired bricks, wooden slats, thatched and braided wicker roofs. Land area: 23 088 m² Built up area: 5167, 83 m² Enclosed area: 18 219,12 m 3
