EN IDEA PART - The subject parcel is located on a busy street, closely surrounded by neighboring properties. The neighbouring buildings have windows facing towards us and this was the very first obstacle we had to solve. Next, we agreed that we wanted to attract people further inwards towards the plot, as there is plenty of green space at the rear of the plot. Those were the first two elements that determined the shape of our building-the setback to allow neighbors to have plenty of light in the windows and the corridor leading from the road to the back of the lot. The corridor and the cut-outs created the atria and parts of the first floor of our building. We agreed that these sections would be used to provide amenities for the center such as a café, entrances to sections of the building, or exhibition space. A corridor connects the atria and leads people to the back of the plot-an open space full of greenery. The second floor connects the ground floor sections and creates a space that will be used directly for coworking. This centre, however, takes up most of the green space. We therefore decided to replace the built-up area with a green roof. The result of this concept is therefore a wraparound building open to the public that respects the neighbouring buildings and the environment. STRUCTURAL PART - The resulting shape of the building is structurally complex, so the solution was a combined reinforced concrete frame combined with reinforced concrete reinforcing walls. Parking was another issue, and as we did not want to disturb the quiet ground floor area, we moved the vehicle access to the other side of the site underground. The building is based on piles because it has a skeleton system. There are openings in the ceiling of the underground floor designed for trees planted in the basement, which exit in the individual atriums. The green roof has a special composition designed to drain water from the soil. CZ IDEOVÁ ČÁST • Daná parcela se nachází na rušné ulici, blízce obklopená sousedními stavbami. Sousední stavby mají okna otočené směrem k nám a to byla hned první překážka, kterou jsme museli vyřešit. Dále jsme se shodli, že chceme lidi přilákat dále směrem dovnitř parcely, jelikož se v zadní časti parcely nachází dostatek zeleně. Byli to první dva prvky, které určily tvar naší stavby-vykrojené části, aby sousedi měli dostatek světla v oknech a koridor vedoucí od cesty do zadní části parcely. Koridorem a vykrojenými částmi vznikla atria a části prvního nadzemního podlaží naší stavby. Shodli jsme se, že tyto části budou sloužit vybavení centra jako kavárna, vstupy do sekcí stavby nebo výstavní prostory. Koridor propojuje jednotlivá atria a navádí lidi do zadní části parcely-do otevřeného prostranství plného zeleně. Druhé nadzemní podlaží spojuje přízemní části a tvoří prostor, který bude sloužit přímo pro coworking. Toto centrum však zabírá převážnou část zeleně. Rozhodli jsme se proto nahradit zastavěnou plochu zelenou střechou. Výsledkem tohoto konceptu je tedy zalomená budova otevřená veřejnosti, která respektuje sousední zástavbu i životní prostředí. KONSTRUKČNÍ ČÁST • Výsledný tvar stavby má stavebně složitější tvar, proto byl řešením kombinovaný železobetonový skelet v kombinaci se železobetonovými zpevňujícími zdmi. Dalším problémem bylo parkování, a protože jsme nechtěli rušit klidný areál v přízemí, přesunuli jsme vjezd vozidel na druhou stranu parcely do podzemí. Budova je založena na pilotech, protože má skeletový systém. Ve stropě podzemního podlaží jsou vybudovány otvory určené pro stromy zasazené v suterénu, které ústí v jednotlivých atriích. Zelená střecha má speciální skladbu určenou pro odvod vody ze zeminy.
