EN MULTIFUNCTIONAL HALL Our project is inspired by and based on the intersection of the themes of (dance) performance and art. In both activities one expresses or experiences a multitude of emotions and thoughts. By the fact that they are often not exactly graspable, everyone imagines and thinks about different things. Everyone who comes will go through this process, some more, some less. One passes through the hall on staircases, ramps and platforms carried up by variously grouped steel rods. The steel rods thus form different shapes - regular, irregular, sharp, rounded, narrow, wide, etc. - expressing parts, ideas, points of view and emotions of performance and art-making. These transitions are concentrated around the perimeter of the hall, facing different perspectives (horizontal and vertical changes) to a central area that allows for the organization of different kinds of events (installations, semester opening, award ceremonies, performances, lectures, evening events, etc.). On the roof of the hall, an open space connected to the studio of the Faculty of Architecture has been created, which allows for an extension of the space and the possibilities of studio teaching. For convenient and practical use in connection with the faculty, there is also a passageway in the hall, both to the faculty and to its courtyard. Technical Solution: Reinforced concrete in the form of staircases, ramps and platforms is carried out by thin steel members secured in a frame structure connected to the ceiling - the roof of the hall. The perimeter walls and rooms are concrete. Urban situation: The building is linked and connected to the adjacent Faculty of Architecture, creating a programmable interface between the public and the faculty. In front of the building an open public public space is created, separated from the intersection by trees. CZ MULTIFUNKČNÁ HALA Náš projekt je inšpirovaný a vychádza z prieniku tém (tanečná) performancia a výtvarná tvorba. V oboch aktivitách človek vyjadruje alebo zažíva množstvo emócií a myšlienok. Tým, že častokrát nie sú presne uchopiteľné, každý si predstaví a zamyslí sa nad rôznymi vecami. Každý, kto príde, si týmto procesom prejde, niekto viac, niekto menej. Človek prechádza cez halu po schodiskách, rampách a platformách vynášaných rôzne zoskupenými oceľovými prútmi. Oceľové prúty teda vytvárajú rôzne obrazce – pravidelné, nepravidelné, ostré, zaoblené, úzke, široké, a pod. – vyjadrujú časti, myšlienky, uhly pohľadu a emócie performancie a umeleckej tvorby. Tieto prechody sú sústredené po obvode haly, s výhľadom z rôznych pohľadov (horizontálne aj vertikálne zmeny) do centrálnej časti, ktorá umožňuje organizáciu rôznych druhov podujatí (inštalácie, zahájenie semestra, odovzdávanie cien, performancie, prednášky, večerné podujatia atď.). Na streche haly je vytvorený otvorený priestor prepojený s ateliérom fakulty architektúry, čo umožňuje rozšírenie priestoru a možností ateliérovej výuky. Pre pohodlné a praktické využitie v súvislosti s fakultou je priechod aj v hale, a to ako do fakulty, tak aj do jej dvora. Technické riešenie: Armovaný betón v podobe schodisiek, rámp a platforiem je vynášaný tenkými oceľovými prútmi zaistenými v rámovej konštrukcii spojenej so stropom – strechou haly. Obvodové steny aj miestnosti betónové. Urbanistická situácia: Objekt sme prepojili a napojili na susednú fakultu architektúry, čím vzniká programovateľné rozhranie verejnosti s fakultou. Pred objektom vzniká otvorený verejný verejný priestor, oddelený od križovatky stromami. Kateřina Klementová, Veronika Pálková
