EN The project called Under the Surface consists of 3 concrete crystals and glazing that climatically encloses the spaces between them. It is based on a combination of two interests - travel, which is linked to discovery, and the development of languages. The result is a café with a gallery in which one can explore the different parts, each evoking a different impression and feeling. This relates specifically to the development of languages, which is expressed here by the use of different materials from different time periods. The entrance to the building consists of a café, which is intended to evoke the environment of prehistoric times. The walls are made of moss and rough stone. The whole space is intended to simulate a cave, which visitors can decorate with cave paintings. The café space also extends throughout the glazed first floor, where there are stairs to other parts. On the 1st underground floor is the main exhibition hall of the gallery. The main material in this space is worked stone, which is on the floor and walls. The arches and gargoyles decorating this space are also made of stone. The space is illuminated by stained glass windows. Staff offices and storage rooms are also located on this floor. The whole floor is inspired by Gothic elements. The 2nd and 3rd floors are connected. This is a special exhibition space where archival plans, files and collections are housed. The floor is made of coloured marble and the walls are decorated with gold-framed paintings and decorative dark wood shelves. The gallery railings are gold. The whole space is illuminated by a window in the top of the crystal. This exhibition hall is in the Baroque style, as the time when the first Czech literature began to be written and the printing press developed. The stairs to the individual crystals are made of steel and glass and, as a hint of the contemporary era, are designed as consoles. The entire glass space is heated, which allows for seating in the café even in the colder seasons. CZ Projekt s názvem Pod Povrchem tvoří 3 betonové krystaly a zasklení, které klimaticky uzavírá prostory mezi nimi. Vychází ze spojení dvou zájmů – cestování, které se pojí s objevy, a vývojem jazyků. Výsledkem je kavárna s galerií, ve které je možno prozkoumávat jednotlivé části, z nichž každá navozuje jiný dojem a pocity. To souvisí právě s vývojem jazyků, který je zde vyjádřen použitím různých materiálů z jiných časových období. Vstup do objektu je tvořen kavárnou, která má navozovat prostředí pravěku. Stěny jsou z mechu a neopracovaného kamene. Celý prostor má simulovat jeskyni, kterou mohou návštěvníci zdobit jeskynními malbami. Prostory kavárny se dále rozléhají v celém zaskleném 1. nadzemním podlaží, kde jsou i schody do dalších částí. V 1. podzemním podlaží je hlavní výstavní sál galerie. Hlavní materiál v tomto prostoru je opracovaný kámen, ten je na podlaze i na stěnách. Z kamene jsou i klenby a chrliči, zdobící tento prostor. Místo osvětlují okna s barevnými vitrážemi. V tomto patře se nachází i kanceláře personálu a sklady. Celé patro je inspirováno gotickými prvky. 2. a 3. nadzemní patra jsou spojeny. Jedná se o speciální výstavní prostor, kde se nachází archivní plány, spisy a sbírky. Podlaha je z barevného mramoru a stěny jsou zdobeny obrazy se zlatým rámem a dekorativními policemi z tmavého dřeva. Zábradlí galerie je zlaté. Celý prostor osvětluje okno ve vrcholu krystalu. Tento výstavní sál je ve stylu baroka, jakožto doby, kdy se začala psát první česká literatura, a rozvíjel se knihtisk. Schody do jednotlivých krystalů jsou z oceli a skla, coby náznak současné doby, jsou řešeny jako konzoly. Celý zasklený prostor je vytápěn, což umožňuje posezení v kavárně i za chladnějších období.
