In the winter semester of the first year, we received three main topics: substitution, addition, freehand (artifact) and habitation. I developed these themes with reference to a scene from Friends from college. I tried to capture the atmosphere of the scene in my work. I worked with the idea of the contrast of order, its violation and the ensuing chaos that the scene evoked. In the Freehand assignment, I had to create a construction that was inspired by an artifact. As an artifact I chose a branch whose branching reminded me of waves. For the last task, I inhabited an artifact that I imagined as a summer house near the hills overlooking the sea. The summer house could belong to a person living a minimalist life. V zimním semestru prvního ročníku jsme obdrželi tři hlavní témata: substituce, adice, freehand (artefakt) a zabydlení. Tyto témata jsem zpracovala s návaznosti na scénu ze seriálu Friends from college. Snažila jsem se při své práci zachytit atmosféru scény. Pracovala jsem s myšlenkou kontrastu řádu, jeho porušení a následného vzniku chaosu, která mi scénu evokovala. V úkolu Freehand jsem měla vytvořit konstrukci, která se inspirovala artefaktem. Jako artefakt jsem si vybrala větev, jejíž větvení mi připomnělo vlnění. U posledního úkolu jsem zabydlovala artefakt, který jsem si představila jako letní domek v blízkosti kopců s výhledem na moře. Letní domek by mohl patřit člověka žijící minimalistickým životem.
