Re imagining Urban Streets

Project idea

This was an Urban Design project in which we were assigned to pick any existing streets and re design it according to urban design features.

The scope of work included it's masterplan and architectural visualizations.

Technical information

The site was selected in the way to Swoyambhu which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. To manage the traffic, the way has been declared one way but is not designed that way as it was previously a two way road. So we designed it in such a way that the road has a larger sidewalk for the Kora route and it has the amenities for not only walking but resting and enjoying the environment.
