Project idea

Because I believe every studied case has its own
context and circumstances, it pushed me to be
creative in presenting the solution to my study case.
My project’s main idea was an investment, horizontal,
solution rather than the governmental vertical alter-
-native one, and taking advantage of the under-
ground instead of building above it, and restore the
heart of the city with an exceptional cultural project
that consists of a landscaping work of the Independent-
Park and the accommodation of a cultural monu-
-mental museum emphasizing the dome of which is
the only element remaining of the ancient school buil-
-ding (Azziyeh school 1281).
Damascus, my ancient beloved city, (Al-tagheez) the
the high school that I graduated from “located in my pro-
ject’s site” and my passion for urban planning and
architecture were the elements of inspiration to create
my own formula to one of my city’s most crucial prob-
-lem .. urban disorder.

Project description

My graduation project choice was fountained by my
love and passion for urban planning and how it could
be applicated to creat solutions modernizing and
preserving the authenticity of my beloved city.
The location of my project in the heart of Damascus
has pushed me to be more understanding of nature
and uniqueness of it.
And because I believe every studied case has its own
