Project idea

El proyecto desarrollado tiene dos etapas, por un lado la etapa urbanistica, que principalmente tiene por objetivo potenciar diferentes zonas de la ciudad a traves de nodos, que estaran representados por edificios sustentables y contendran actividades tanto educativas, sociales, economicas, gubernamentales, etc, esto hara que ninguna zona de la ciudad pierda importancia, lo que tendra como resultado el constante mantenimiento de las mismas. Otro punto importante del proyecto sera el transporte, en donde la atencion estara centrada tanto en el transporte publico de pasajeros, como tambien en aquellos transportes sustentables como la bicicleta, es por eso que a nivel urbano planificamos la creacion de calles exclusivas para bicisendas y otras que seran exclusivas para colectivos. Adentrandonos mas a la escala barrial, la idea del proyecto es generar un fuerte vinculo con el entorno, no remarcar la propiedad privada del terreno sino lograr una conexion fluida y trasnformar el espacion que diseñamos, en un gran espacio publico, que potenciara las actividades que alli se desarrollen y como su nombre lo marca lo hara mas popular. La idea principal del edificio en si es generar una gran plaza publica representada por una rampa que se elevara por arriba de los edificios existentes, logrando la vinculacion de los mismo, pero siempre respetando su escencia, es decir, que no pierda su verdadero significado, ni formal ni funcional, que siempre logre apreciarse de manera clara lo que ya hay en el lugar, en pocas palabras, respetar sus raices.

Another important point of the project will be transportation, where the focus will be on both public passenger transport and sustainable transport such as bicycles, which is why at the urban level we plan to create exclusive streets for bicycles and other which will be exclusive for groups. Going further to the neighborhood scale, the idea of ​​the project is to generate a strong link with the environment, not to highlight the private ownership of the land but to achieve a fluid connection and transform the space we design, into a large public space, which enhances the activities that They develop there and as its name marks it it will make it more popular. The main idea of ​​the building itself is to generate a large public square represented by a ramp that rises above the mobile buildings, achieving the link of it, but always respecting its essence, that is, that it does not lose its true meaning, nor neither formal nor functional, that always manages to clearly appreciate what is already in the place, in short, respect its roots.

Project description

DESCRIPCION PROYECTO: El proyecto en si esta pensado para lograr atraer a los habitantes y visitantes del lugar, de una manera natural, a traves de un gran espacio publico. La idea tambien es lograr darle una cara que remarque la importancia del lugar, pero sin dejar de lado la escencia de lo que alli hay, estas dos cosas la traducimos en la utilizacion de una gran explanda o rampa que cubre todo el terreno y unifica el conjunto. Como gesto importante para lograr cuidar lo existente, generamos vacios en la rampa, lo que permite que los edificios existentes esten totalmente libres y se pueda apreciar la arquitectura existente. En la parte baja, se planifica una conexion entre los diferentes edificios a traves de un recorrido que va pasando por diferentes puntos importantes, lo que genera un gran dinamismo a la hora de recorrer el proyecto.

The idea is also to give it a face that highlights the importance of the place, but without neglecting the essence of what is there, we translate these two things into the use of a large slope or ramp that covers the entire terrain and unifies the set. As an important gesture to take care of the existing, we create voids in the ramp, which allows the existing buildings to be completely free and the existing architecture can be appreciated. In the lower part, a connection is planned between the different buildings through a route that goes through different important points, which generates great dynamism when it comes to touring the project.

INFORMACION TECNICA;Para lograr materializar la idea proyectada, tenemos en cuenta principalmente , las raices del lugar, es decir, la escencia de burkina faso y principalmente de uagadugu. La materialidad del lugar y las formas de construir nos llevan a la decision de utilizar materiales como madera, ladrillo en la creacion de muros y pieles en combinacion con el hormigon, que a traves de un casetonado, materializamos el gran techo, logrando una lectura contemporanea sin pero sin romper con la lectura del lugar. Buscamos un equilibrio entre lo tradicional y lo tecnologico pero sin perder la escencia que tomamos como base para poder lograr desarrollar este proyecto que es raices
