Project idea

The goal of this project is to create a coding school in the heart of Karama, Dubai. Through this, we added the feature of a fun palace which was celebrated by Cedric Price. The fun palace in this project is the way how the trees move in different scenarios depending on the occasion.

Project description

There were many things to consider since Karama is a crowded place where residents have been residing for a long time. One of the project goals was to not disturb the lifestyle or flow of people but to enhance or bring it more to life.

Technical information

The project has a fun palace where the trees would move and create different shades for the people depending on the occasion as Dubai, UAE is a hot place, and different passive design elements were integrated into the project such as surface cooling, passive cooling, and many more as shown in the diagram.
