Project idea

Embracing the juxtaposition of nature and structure, our university congress hall stands as a testament to the harmony between the raw beauty of the surrounding mountains and the boldness of human architecture. Informed by Brutalist principles, the design aims to blend seamlessly with the lush greenery, respecting and enhancing the natural environment.

Project description

This congress hall stands not as an imposition on nature but as a dialogue-a conversation between the strength of architectural form and the timeless beauty of the natural world. It's a space where academia and environment coexist, each enhancing the other in a symphony of functionality and aesthetics.

Technical information

The exterior, characterized by exposed concrete and clean lines, mimics the ruggedness of the nearby mountains. Large glass panels invite the outside in, creating a fluid boundary between the interior and the vibrant green landscape. Rooftop gardens and cascading vegetation soften the building's silhouette, providing a visual link between the structure and its organic surroundings.
