Tento projekt je zaměřen na centrum města Vratimova, zvlášť na budovu nádraží. V současné době je centrem pouze malé náměstí blízko
hlavní cesty a nádraží je v zanedbaném stavu. Od nádraží směrem k hlavní cestě se nachází průmyslový areál, který není
plně využíván a zabírá tak potenciální centrální prostor. Proto jsem se
rozhodla na místě tohoto areálu vytvořit nové centrum města.
V mém návrhu je nádražní budova spojena s muzeem (např. muzeum papíren, které donedávna ve městě fungovaly) a administrativní budovou. Spolu tvoří uzavřené náměstí ve tvaru písmene "U". To je lineárně propojeno pasáží s hlavní silnicí. Tato pasáž napomáhá k celkovému obrazu centra svou zelení, pěším, ale i dopravním využitím. Podél pasáže jsou bytové domy, a kancelářské prostory. Za nimi je pak sportovní areál, který podporuje sportovní aktivitu občanů. Je tvořen multifunkční halou, venkovním hřištěm a skateparkem. Budova nádraží má tři podlaží a vyhlídkovou věž. Ta umožňuje výhled hlavně na Beskydské pohoří a Ostravu. V prvním podlaží se nachází prostor prodeje lístků, čekárny, toalet a zázemí zaměstnanců. Ve druhém podlaží je bistro s kavárnou a čekárna s toaletou. Terasa nádraží je propojena s terasou budov obklopujících náměstí (muzeum a administrativní budova). Nadchod na druhé nástupiště má netradiční zaoblený tvar, který kopíruje styl nosné konstrukce budovy, tvořené sloupy a oblouky. Jelikož se kousek za nádražím nachází cyklostezka, na kterou je možné se napojit pouze z hlavní silnice, je budova přizpůsobena cyklistům. Parkování je řešeno nadzemním parkovištěm vedle náměstí.
Nové centrum tvoří přehledné a harmonické prostředí, ideální pro další rozvoj (např. park, který ve městě chybí, by se mohl k centru napojit).
This project is focused on the center of Vratimov city, especially on the train station building. Currently, the center is only a small square nearby
the main road and the station is in a neglected condition. From the station towards the main road there is an industrial area, which is not
fully used and thus occupies a potential central space. That's why I
decided to create a new city center instead of this complex.
In my design, the train station building is connected to a museum (f.e. a museum of paper mills that until recently operated) and a administrative building. Together they form a closed square in the shape of the letter "U". The square and the main road are linearly connected by the passage. This passage helps to create an overall picture of the center with its greenery, pedestrian and traffic zone. Along the passage there are apartment buildings and office buildings. Behind them there is a sports complex that consists of a multifunctional hall, an outdoor playground and a skatepark. The train station building has three floors and an observation tower. The tower offers mainly a view of the Beskydy Mountains and Ostrava city. On the first floor there is a ticket office, waiting room, toilets and staff facilities. On the second floor there is a bistro with a cafe and a waiting room. The station terrace is connected to the terrace of the buildings surrounding the square (museum and administrative building). The overpass to the second platform has a non-traditional rounded shape which copies the style of the supporting structure of the building consisting of columns and arches. As there is a cycle path just behind the station which can only be connected from the main road, the building is adapted for cyclists. Parking is provided by an above-ground parking lot next to the square.
The new center creates a clear and harmonious environment, ideal for further development (f.e. a park that is missing in the city could connect to the center).
