Dear Ali, Susan, and Elahe,
I want to congratulate you for an excellent idea of integrating green space as a climate-responsive design strategy with our daily life. Green space acts as a thermal barrier and creates a new kind of urbanism that brings human life closer to an ecosystem. Additionally, it enhances the quality of life, which, of course, I see your primary concern regarding this project. I want to add a few notes which might amplify your idea. Since homing is a concept of living together, and it is also about interacting with the people living next door based on cultural practice. In the project, I see lovely private terraces for the family members' people to interact, but I miss a little less attention on a shared space or terrace for the people living on the same floor or in the same building. While your concern is to address the issue of reduced interaction between people living in a residential complex, the idea of a shared terrace might help on that note. However, each floor's green space came through significantly well composed in the fenestration. Perhaps, the use of glass and wooden shell could be a little more sensitive than just being an elevation treatment, which brings me to think about the site context and climate. I was missing the context of the project and site-specificity. Every site has its unique character and therefore demands design diagram.
Nevertheless, the project's technical summary hints about the structural system, but in the drawings, this is not very clear. I would love to see the details. Details bring me to the point about the parking in the floor plan -1 where I feel the distance between two ramps is not appropriate for a car to get off from the first ramp and turn towards the parking area. Finally, the presentation needs to be improved to explain the design idea. There are too many images from the same angle, which does not add any narrative. The presentation images also lack the section line and the appropriate section to tell the story. One single self-explanatory axonometric or perspective might be enough to present the design idea.
Good luck!
