Dear Nethmi,
I enjoyed the handmade quality of your presentation and the sketches clearly describe the concept from my perspective. The undulating shape of the roof is particularly interesting and in my opinion it contributes the most to the clarity of your concept. Use of locally available materials is a very important aspect as you took it into consideration and you can consider including a palette of the basic proposed materials such as sample photographs.
Overall the presentation is clear except that due to the scale of the drawings most of the details are not readable. Despite the fact that the conceptual aspect of the project is clearly communicated, further evaluation of the programmatic requirements can’t be commenced in this scale. You could enlarge some if the drawings (at least one floor plan and one section), especially since you have already devoted so much effort to prepare the same. Try to avoid portrait orientation on the drawing panels since you lose valuable presentation space for communicating the details of your project. You may also consider a colour schedule indicating programmatic functions on smaller scale, so that the distribution of the program is clearer on the plans. The relationship with the site seems very interesting and the facility appears particularly cohesive. Well done!
Kind Regards,
Niko
