Respect for the architectural legacy is a duty we have with society. Therefore, we highlight a positive point from the beginning. However, respect for the past does not force us to replicate it. It would be good if a new temporary layer was imposed, making the architect's intervention more evident.
I can think of various options to be able to carry out this objective, such as, for example, a more disruptive materiality, a separation both physical and material from the existing volume, or the decomposition of part of the volume or facade (integrating green spaces in height, for example).
On a graphic level, and making it very clear that the quality of the project is never affected by its presentation, I would advise greater subtlety and clarity in the architectural drawings, since today's competitiveness in the sector is brutal, and a good image is essential to make your project go ahead
