Humanizing industrial workspace and its integration within already established surrounding is very important topic due to all the impacts and disadvantages of textile and similar industries on the environment and climate challenges of presence and the future. The highest quality of the project by Md Yafiz Siddiqui located in Munshiganj, Bangladesh is environmentally and socially responsible design proposal, moreover, features like rain harvesting give additional quality and sustainable solutions in order to decrease negative impacts. Nonetheless, creating human workspace, not limited only to industrial plants, amplifies the importance of architecture in social changes and responsibility of architects for improvements in working and living conditions.
In accordance of mentioned above my suggestion to the proposed design would be increasing of social impact on the existing physical surrounding, giving more amenities to the local community. Beside daily childcare, services like restaurant / café for workers, locals and visitors, that could become a sort of meeting spot even after working hours. Respecting the size of location the whole structure could be moved partly towards the river, thus creating a small green oasis not only in the back, but also in the front opened to workers and local community.
