I would recommend You do make competition boards more consistent. Boards as a graphic expression should be a clear and logic. To achieve it, I would recommend You to make one layout for all boards (grids can be useful), one graphic idea and style. Usefull would to put for example some numbers and boards and titles (on all boards) in same place so viewer can more easly understand Your ideas.
Also I would start from boards with basics, analytics and then I would focus on visualization and details. It would make Your idea more easy to understand.
