The design proposal reflects brutalist architecture by its simplicity and slickness in its appearances. However, it misses the designer's arguments to make a spatial dialogue for the users and their surroundings. The confined boldness is failed to create solid void inter-changeable links between the building and its surroundings. Here the architecture needs to address the quality of interactions between the users and the spaces within it. The designer can think of parking spaces as not just merely a space to keep cars for a certain period. It should facilitate experiential spaces for the drivers to experience while driving up to the ramp as well as during the pedestrian journey while coming and going to the parking space to get the cars. Space should encourage interaction between different unknowns through these journeys. The parking building can act as a hub for public activity spaces. Such alteration will add extra social and economic value to the proposal. The current state of design has the potentials to add those spatial features by subtracting and adding masses. The spatial changes will also establish unique visual connections with the surrounding nature keeping into consideration the environmental harshness in the Siberian context. Along with the modification of the building mass, the facades also can bring some sort of transparency, if a layer of public realm can be added around the building or on one side of the building on different floors, keeping the parking spaces in the centre.
There is some other architectural tweaking that can make the design slicker and appealing. To keep a statement of the singularity, in the roofline, the top of the staircase, the railings and ramp heights can support each other if they somehow bring any vertical reference lines at the same height. At this moment, the horizontal bars of the roof railings are creating a contradictory dialogue with the rest of the vertical lines.
