GG-LOOP BELIEVES THAT ARCHITECTURE, AS ANSWER TO A SPATIAL DEMAND, CANNOT BE MERELY FUNCTIONAL.… more
Dear Mertcan,
congratulations on your project.
The explanation of the project is clear and well argued.
The intention of the project is quite poetic even if the function of your building is not exactly explicit.
The choice of the colors progression is very appropriate to the sensations you want to arouse in the visitor, even if a common denominator of the project is the constant presence of Nature, which makes every room very calm and relaxed.
The curvilinear spaces help to circumscribe these emotions in a natural way by harmoniously dialoguing with the external space.
The solution of creating continuity with the surrounding landscape in the green room where the lawn enters the building seamlessly is interesting.
Although it is a speculative project, it would have been interesting to further develop its technical aspects: the structural overhangs of the roof and the glass facade that almost entirely surrounds the building without interruptions are two crucial aspects that perhaps would characterize the entire project in a very different way if it were to actually be realized.
Keep up with your search for a dialogue between architecture and nature and good luck with your career!
Best regards,
Giacomo Garziano
