As an Architect who runs my own sustainable heritage community hub in Malaysia, few concerns i have on the project, who will be the owner of the hub, is it government or NGO or private or social enterprise operated. This is crucial for the longevity of the community hub sustainable business model. What will be the ballance program of the hub to create a sustainable income to maintain the community hub? Is it permanent rentables spaces or events base spaces? From my experience , good income generators for community hubs are community markets, wedding events and media shoots. Rest are all charitable collaborations.
How can it be flexible and adaptable to pandemic operations? 50,100,500 pax more management. How can it be low maintenance for operators?
How can the hub be promoted as a placemaking and collaborative activities between stakeholder? Will there be any circular economy or sharing economy activities?
Hope my comments will help. Thanks
