Hello Dragos, hope you are doing well. First, I want to tell you that I really like how you manage to make the connections and shapes with clear volumes considering the light, the landscape and the view for the users in every space. Your composition looks smooth and clean. Following, I address some points that you can try to explore in your project:
1. Main Volumes. The shapes and textures you used seem correct for the project. You can try to add a second skin in precise spaces for light and ventilation management. Elements such as louvers can help you bring texture to the light entering the spaces as well as letting you the chance to open curtain wall closed spaces so the climate comfort in your project is reached with passive techniques.
2. Staircase and Ramp. This space looks really useful for general users of the landscape. You can try to unify the green ramp with the lateral stairs so the area feels as one and the user can have the chance of either rest in the grass or continue her or his path in the project.
3. Lights. You may try to apply more artificial lights so the project can maintain its life with darker conditions. Lights can also help you to emphasize the crystal volumes and even make them appear like they are floating depending on natural light conditions. As well as external lights, the internal lights will make the crystal volumes more important at night, where these shapes will be the ones that guide the project’s composition and mood.
4. Plaza and Landscape. The green roofs are an excellent idea to continue with the plaza no matter the level of the project you are in. You can try to include more landscape design and program activities in these areas, so the user has a full experience in every corner of your project.
For the project´s theme, your proposal has great potential. The images you presented evidence your work and order in the design process. I would like to see more inner spaces as well. I hope my comments can help you in your design. Feel free of contacting me if there´s any doubt.
Thank you very much for your feedback. These are indeed good recommendations, which I didn't think of when designing the project. One of my main goals when I thought of the main volumes was getting as much light in the building as possible, as it is surrounded by other buildings, therefore in the pursuit of it I neglected this aspect. I am very grateful for exposing the weak points of my project, I do totally agree with you and I will try to avoid these mistakes in my future projects.
