Dear Adiya,

It is a pleasure for me to give my feedback on your project, presented through the Inpireli Educational Platform.

Your project "Step by Step" presents an interesting idea in the development of a student campus facility.
Spatially your inspiration starts from the vertical movement and flow of the students inside the public space. In this case the vertical stairs become a "strong element" in the space intending to direct the spatial distribution but also create interesting moments in the interior. In addition, such element as the stairs create a moment of transparency offering visual communication between students, creating interesting moments for observation and interaction (sitting elements, small amphitheater, etc)

Nevertheless, such an element presented also in literature from authors such as Bruno Zevi in his book Architecture as Space: How to Look at Architecture or Rem Koolhaas' "Fundamentals of Architecture and others, present an incredible potential not only to develop architectural space presenting the element of the stair as a core value in interior architecture. It would be interesting if you could explore further and elaborate the presence of the stair as an element that not only structures each level and distributes the movement flows in each function, but also how could stairs be transformed in the interior in different mediums. An approach would integrate the element of the stair as part of the spatial articulation (for example, development of inner podiums) or how could stairs create mezzannines and elevated platforms.

Furthermore, as the element of the stair is a core element for the architectural values of your design, they could also be present in the exterior space, creating scenarios in the landscape and urban design of your campus. Their impact in your design should be present potentially even in the facade of your project, as the space of a campus is transparent and offers visibility, such a "strong" architectural element could also present itself in the facades of your project, reflecting the interior into exterior.

I would finally suggest for you to develop further the interior and exterior space additing details, plans, sections, architectural collages (where we can perceive the movement of natural sunlight - and therefore the movement of life in the architectural space - don't forget that we are "born" and we "fade away" as the sun completes its orbit around earth) not only in their technical form but also in the architectural atmospheres and interactions between the students in your project. Could you present us your "utopic" vision for the space that you have designed? Can you help us perceive or imagine the millieu of emotions and relationships that will be created in such space? Your impact as an architect to the public is incredible and you must put in action all the architectural tools and mediums available.
