The masonry fountains of the traditional settlement of Lagkadia of Arcadia (Greece) are recorded and imprinted. The settlement is synonymous with the construction of masonry buildings, as its inhabitants, in the past, were famous stonemasons. The influence of the traditional fountains of Lagkadia on the physical, cultural and social dimension of the landscape of the settlement is examined and a proposal for their promotion and utilization is attempted. The aim is to highlight the physiognomy of the settlement and the renewal of its identity.

In order to protect the architectural treasure, to preserve the historicity of Lagkadia, to highlight the elements of their tangible and intangible cultural heritage and their relationship with the natural environment, a proposal is made to highlight and utilize the traditional fountains of the settlement. This is achieved through creation of a cultural route focusing on these masonry fountains, but also the remaining masonry watermills of the settlement.

After field research with direct observation and recording, the most important traditional stone fountains of the settlement Lagkadia are presented. Findings are presented through drawings and photos. An analysis of their main typological and morphological elements is attempted, the natural landscape around them is examined and their integration into it is indentified.
