Dear Zaina,
First of all i would like to congratulate you on your graduation project.
I want to underline some issues that i found relevant :
I would like to start by commenting on the structure you used. We can see the concept of phyllotaxis in the shell of the project but the "leaves" should all converge to a specific point (specifically if you were inspired from the palm trees). The spacing between a "leaf and another" isn't seen nor explained in a structural manner but only shown in the 3d.It would be very interesting to show what's happening in the space between each structural leaf . I would also like to point out that the structure isn't shown in the plans (what's the correlation between the plan and the structure? How does the structure affect the planning ? ) .
Secondly , If we move to the plans , i noticed that the entrances aren't marked even though you're working with a big scale stadium and thus will have to deal with a high flow of spectators, how do you plan to organize the entrance and exit to the stadium? noting that in this kind of buildings you should be having many entrances ( prime entrances for spectator,Secondary access for teams, players and staff, and a third access for services related to the stadium and its restaurants). The circulation (in-out) and (up-down from level to level ) need more development regarding the high flow of people that will be inside the stadium. The levels shown in the section A-A aren't well developed in the plans . What differs between a level and another? (the functions!). The Public areas need seatings , the VIP area need to be more luxurious , the players and teams level must have locker rooms ,showers, warm up areas meeting areas etc.... . A room for press conferences and for commentators should also be added .
Last but not least , you previously mentioned in your concept the "connectivity". Unfortunately the connectivity between the stadium and the city isn't shown. A landscape plan should also be elaborated to build a connection between the stadium and the entourage.
Hope my comments will be helpful for your project development.
Regards,
Marie Li Helou
