Patio Alameda is a space that takes up the typical element of Mexican architecture; the patio. The project constitutes a reinterpretation of the centralized… more
Overall, the project is very well managed, paying attention to sustainability and the use of local materials should be a matter of course nowadays. The search for a new form for traditional Mexican patios is also done very atractivelly. What I miss is the floor plan in the context of the city, a site of a larger scale that would also capture urban relations and thus say more about the positioning of the object. This is followed by a question about the tree in the central location of your pavilion. Wouldn't it be better to use one of the already probably existing trees in the area, which offers a larger crown and thus a larger shade? Such questions would not arise if you had attached a situation in which the position of the building in the urban environment is visible, or a scheme, sketch, with some notes, which would tell us more about the environment. To sum it up I would like to see, why is it placed, where it is placed, otherwise really nice job.
