The geometric and material influences of Louis Khan seem to be stronger here than the influences of the river, or of the concept of a goli. I would like to be able to better understand the dynamic conditions of the river through this project. Does the river rise and fall? Is there any risk of flooding at the library, and if so, how has that informed the design? Also, the goli concept seems to be only somewhat successful here, because the space in the middle still feels more like an atrium within a single building, rather than a narrow path that cuts between two buildings. You still have to go into the library atrium to get to the river space -- rather than it being a truly public space with no lockable barrier to entry. Lastly, the "hall of exploration" atrium space makes the building feel more introverted/introspective, rather than celebrating the river (which seems to be more important in your site plan and your animation). What if the goli is the "hall of exploration"? And what if it the "hall of exploration" opened onto the river, and could be seen and accessed directly from the river?
