Hello Siako Abdullah
First of all I would like to congratulate you on all the effort you put into this project and the hard work showing in your presentation.
You have clearly illustrated every aspect of the design with all its architectural, structural and functional aspects. Your design puts a significant mark into the society as it targets a sensitive topic that spreads worldwide in addition to the techniques you found your project on to convince the main role of architecture which is designing with and for a suitable purpose.
The functional program you chose serves the projects goal as you linked social activities with treatment and therapy to create a pleasant and safe space. You managed to create a relation between human behavior with the society and the natural environment. Not only that, but your architecture convinces the idea of inclusivity that every human being deserves.
The fluidity in your architecture is well thought of and well designed. It is well illustrated in your plans as well in your elevations. I think adding water features in addition to green spaces gives the impression of indoor/ outdoor space where the user can find comfort and ease in their journey.
I would suggest that you focus more on having the same fluidity in your section as I thought it does not completely relate to what to projects' exterior presents. For example, not having layered cut slabs, maybe adding slopped slabs, more merged ramps within the slabs connecting different spaces together. Another example is to have the façade intersect within the project. Your project should not only act as a cover to the spaces, but it should be part of the interior ambiance you’re aiming to create.
Furthermore, It would be an added value to the project as a whole to see how the interior spaces are used and o show how you are treating each area of the project based on its function. Finally I would suggest to change the location of the administration, as I think the core space of your project should hold a function more related to the aim and purpose of the project.
In conclusion, I would like to congratulate you for becoming a new member in the Inspireli award's family and best of luck in all your upcoming work.
Best regards,
Joyce
