The contextual response, project idea, design intentions, and functional aspects are appreciable.
Project involves a lot of hard work and involvement, which is impressive.
Inclusion of public green pockets at the entry exhibits your thinking pattern and the idea to attract people into the facility, below are few points for you to consider and improve on your next project.
Points to Improve
I believe this project is done for an architectural exercise, it is appreciable that you have thought in detail of all the technical aspects, but you should narrow down the hierarchy when composing the panels. Always try to convey the design through architectural drawings, sketches, perspectives, and diagrams. Better to have technical details, to show you have thought about it, but give less prominence as they can go to your report or additional documents.
In public building designs, have a diagram denoting the circulation patterns and especially the places you can enter the building. This would give the juror an idea how open and public your design is. How much you have tried to exhibit your building to the general public and attract them into your facility (at least to promote sports).
Draw the sections in a much more interesting way. Add people, trees and furniture to make it live and grab someone's attention.
Based on your 3D Imagery
- Do you use any curtains or blinds to obstruct the scorching sunlight,
- how do you prevent the internal spaces heating up,
- This is a recreational space, which you can play as you like as long as you can justify your design elements and components. What made you limit yourself from designing a façade for your building.
- Make the 3D model much more live and happening - this could be an additional advantage and to coverup the little flaws and drawbacks in the design.
How will people come to the facility when it rains after parking their vehicles or when they are walking to the facility. Do they have tp get wet? or any alternative option is given for them to enter without getting wet?
Whenever you take shots from Lumion, try to show your design in two point perspectives. This would convey your design better to the reader.
As a summary the effort, thought process, design skills, and all the hard work you have put in are highly appreciable. All these comments are given to improve, consider them as constructive comments and concerns. These are to take you to the next level; rather than getting satisfied from the output you have produced now.
Keep up the good work.
All the very best and good luck.
