i designed a project using technology as we must give the importance to it, using technology in my country is less so i found bringing technology to design a… more
Lana presents a proposal for a technological museum, which she sees as a highly beneficial idea. What caught my attention at first sight was the concept of a museum section for the blind. I would try to highlight and delve deeper into this idea in the project; that's something I feel is missing here. It's an interesting topic, how the perception of the world, space, and objects differs for people who can see and those who are blind. And how these two groups can exchange experiences in the space and what they can learn from each other.
The idea of representing the land situation using the motif of printed circuits (as I see it) seems interesting, but it is only applied too formally here. For example, where do the individual winding paths among the greenery lead? Where does the large paved area on the northwest side lead, and so on? There's a lack of a broader context, visual perspectives, meaningful and transportation axes, connections, further continuities within the area, and so on. It's not clear what is located on the adjacent plot, which is part of the block.
In terms of the internal layout, I feel that there is a need for a central idea that facilitates easy transition between the exhibitions. Well, actually, it's present, but somewhere else. The system of dividing the space into individual functional sections doesn't seem substantial enough. This is where the motif of printed circuits could come into play and help guide visitors smoothly through the entire exhibition, rather than just moving from one section to another.
Personally, I wouldn't want to focus so much on the large garages; I would rather leave that work to the engineers :-)
The dome motif is a good dominant element that attracts attention from a wide area. The visualizations are impressive and well-executed. Perspectives from a standing person's point of view are the most important, so I would give them more prominence and opt for less wide-angle shots.
I don't want the evaluation to sound too negative. There's a lot of work and great effort dedicated to the topic here. It definitely pushed Lana further, and each subsequent project will be better and better :-)
