I see this project as a perfect conversation between old and new. The way you have merged two different building languages is amazing. I believe there should be some heavenly spaces for a building like this. when talking about the upper part of the building, I would rather continue some brick/stone works on the old building by gradually transitioning from old to new glass material. But still, this connection is also fine with me. apart from having just glass, you could do a more detailed structural frame (than the existing one) from the inside or outside which can cast shadows and act as an aesthetical element for the outer façade.
Also, I am wondering about the functionality and the climate response of the building. As an example the daylight integration of the roof is very high. During the summer, how do you control the thermal comfort? Having more transparent public spaces are beautiful and it makes places feel more safe. But how do you going to hide the private functions behind transparent roofs or walls?
I appreciate the way you have tried to incorporate the golden ratio with the spaces and the play of sold-void spaces. Also, the symmetrical plan and focus of the main building through the location of other buildings exactly narrate the value and prominency of the main building. The interiors are more fascinating and the use of heights is very successful. I really admire the interiors.
