Good afternoon, Hamza. All is well?
I am the judge chosen by InspireLi to provide feedback on your project.
First, I want to congratulate you for the intervention presented and the reason for preparing it. His concept of resurrection and of promoting strength and resilience to the Lebanese people is commendable and his concern for the environment is positive, as it is prominent throughout the project.
About the technical point of view, I propose some improvements after reading your project:
- Its representation captures the tragedy and warmth of the Phoenix, but makes it difficult to understand some drawings due to the lack of contrast between the board and them. I suggest highlighting the images more making them clearer;
- There are drawings that have the legend with different colors from the one specified in the plan, making it difficult to understand the project, especially about the accesses that are important in such a complex environment of activities;
- The project permeates different scales, but does not convey clarity between them. The proposal appears on the urban scale and is directed to the furniture detailing, without permeating the architectural or intermediate scale. This causes a very strong rupture in the jury's understanding. It will be more relevant to present the closest scale of each zone before detailing a furniture point, which is not impactful to the user experience.
- Besides, below I describe other important issues that were not presented: the structure of the proposed coverage close to the Memorial; lighting in the extensive green areas; what is the use of the mentioned free zone; the presentation of the ground floor plan of the proposed buildings to understand the accesses to them and inside them and where the uses of the entertainment area within the building are located.
Through these adjustments, the project will be clearer and easier to interpret.
In general, I congratulate you again on the project and concept.
Greetings from Brazil,
Lilian Costa
