The idea of the project is to design a marine terminal that will integrate the unique functional requirements of a Marine Terminal harmoniously. more
Hi Tutindaga
First of all, I would like to congratulate you for designing the project and for the efforts you have made in making it the best possible.
The project design method has taken into consideration a large extent consistent with the general context of the site and site service in line with the functional requirements.
As the project appears to be one of the projects that represent the easy, smooth and simple, it served the context and the urban site without complexity.
The open plan style has helped to facilitate the job, and this is evident in the horizontal and vertical plans, but there are some notes on the project which the student should take into account.
For example:-
• The internal functional relations need to be reconsidered in relation to the space behind the reception and the cafeterias.
• The internal vertical movement in such a project must be very well studied, as one vertical movement in a project with a length of 160 meters is not completely sufficient, especially since the number of people who use the building is so large, as it is assumed that there is at least one vertical movement every 30 meters.
• As well to the safety and emergency factor, there are no escape corridors or escape stairs in the building, and this is very dangerous in the event of any emergency fire problem.
• Also, the ramp for cars entering the basement was not clarified, nor was it explained how cars Were parked in the basement, as it appeared in the section (X_X) only and did not appear in the horizontal basement plan.
I wish the student all success and distinction, and that she will take these notes into consideration. Congratulations that you are now a member of the competition family, and I wish you all the best.
Regards.
