As a residence of retreat, this project has a simple yet powerful layout which is shown in both plan and section. The poetic flowing form creates great height for the living room and cozy and intimate space in the sleeping area. Both rooms with big glazing towards the lake reassures its retreat identity in this secluded nature environment.

The deck is nice and functional element to add on in this lake house. It will be nice if it's designed more organically and be more related to the overall geometry of the main house. Or maintain the current shape but scale back a little. Currently the big rectangle spanning the entire width of the house will create too similar views from both rooms.

Having a green roof is a fantastic idea in this nature setting, it will help to blend the architecture more into the surrounding. More details could be added to the design of the green roof by starting to imagine how the couple can use it. Railings needed to be added.

Overall, it's a nice project with a strong idea.
