Dear Immacolata Olivieri,
First of all good to see that you have taken an effort to share your project in an open architecture forum like Inspireli.
Feedback for your project THE MEET
1. Always provide more details about the site context, like which part in Italy, what surrounds the site, etc. Unique designs evolve when you explore the site context in a detailed way.
2. Drawing esp the 2 dimensional representations needs huge improvements in multiple aspects. Names of rooms need to be labeled. With constant practice you can get this.
3. There are a lot of Planning errors and spaces could have been arranged in a better way. Working with spaces and how they are used needs to be visualized even if it's just an academic program. For ex: having a shared bedroom with 2 single beds and having a toilet for the bedroom after crossing a passage at first floor seems wrong. You can't have a straight single flight stairs without landings.
4. There are proportion errors , for instance the staircase seems to be the same width as that of a single door width and similar to the depth of a single wardrobe according to your representation. And the toilet near garage has been skewed to fit in the so small width of the disproportionate staircase. Kindly crosscheck the proportions of the toilet near garage, the wash basin in it seems miniscule. Always refer to proportions and scale of furniture and fixtures in a comparative way when doing a drawing.
5. The render of the swimming pool seems more like a mirror. Your efforts in the 3d render are good but gradually improvise to make it more realistic wrt the site, setup , background, angles, etc. Everything is possible with practice and constant improvisations from our own mistakes.
6. Focus more on experiencing what u design through imagination while you do design sketches and drawings. You can constantly question yourself in the following ways :
a.why so much of outdoor space and such Constrained interior spaces?
b. Why am I not thinking of a garden along with the swimming pool?
c. How can I blend the exterior and interior?
d. How functional are the spaces?
All the best for your future, keep exploring and learning.
Dear Deepiga Kameswaran, thank you so much for your feedback and your helpful suggestions. Have a great day!
