Dear all,
Congratulations with you participation and your project! The work you have done provokes some aspects to debate about. Let me introduce some general points which I believe could be useful.
Buildings.
⁃ Roofs are not involved in the design which is an omission. Try to think how that space could participate in your concept providing greenery, shadows, activities, etc.
⁃ The entrances solutions to the villas are quite controversial. None of the main entrances is designed as a noticeable one (as main entrance should be), but rather hidden behind the building or in the parking. I would suggest to try to reorganize the space so that the people's entrance obtains more meaning and importance than the cars' one.
⁃ Lack of Inclusivity. At this moment graphic materials do not show the solutions of the inclusive design neither outside, nor inside the buildings (no ramps/slopes at the entrances/territory, the elevator doesn’t seem to meet the requirements of disabled people, no appropriate apartments). Try to bring those qualities. Maybe some issues could be solved by the landscape means and repositioning the building on the site, for example.
⁃ Regarding the apartments. 3 rooms apartments have similar area and organization of the bathroom as one room apartment. This is quite controversial. Bigger apartments could have been provided with higher standards of the spaces. The solution for 1 room apartments which is equipped with a sofa instead of a bed is also doubtful.
Landscape.
⁃ Swimming pools. These elements are supposed to be a core of the ground space, the place of leisure. You could give more quality of the space around them involving landscape and part of ground floor plan for some common space, use landscape means to divide the space from the road and give more privacy but to keep the view at the same time, etc.
⁃ Generally, landscape remains nominal in the project and underdeveloped. It would be interesting to give some meaning to it, some remarkable zones or scenarios of them, their interaction with inside and outside spaces.
Regarding the representation, the materials look raw and would require some more work on them. I would advise you to give your preference to other means of representation or to a combination them to achieve higher aesthetic quality of the representation. You can be creative in this way as well!
Nevertheless, these points can be a step for further development of the project. I would like to invite you to keep pushing and wish you good luck!
