Dear Dana,
I would like to congratulate you for your participation in this competition!
I would also like to remark the reflection of the local traditions in the concept. The lace is an interesting source of inspiration. However, such idea could have been reflected in a clearer and stronger way. The building shape is not sorted out properly and appears in a very chaotic manner, the surrounding is very nominal. Try to simplify the shape in order to keep it more laconic and logical. Using local materials would also bring some bound to the surrounding. I invite you to study local traditional architecture deeper and to try to translate it to your project. Also, the drawings and images do not represent some connection to the competition site neither convincing approach to the location on the building’s site and landscape solution. Try to give more meaning to the land you are designing on in your concept. I would also suggest to avoid this kind of renders due to their quality. You could consider using other means of representation such as sketches, models, collages etc.
Overall, the materials submitted are quite raw at this moment, which could be a good starting point for rethinking the project and its further development in graphical and conceptual ways. Keep moving forward and good luck!
