Dear Vladislava Saveleva,
I had the opportunity to review your project submission for the INSPIRELI AWARDS competition. From a conceptual point of view, your project is well developed and reflects a strong understanding of the context and the site's historical and traditional spirit. The composition of the form with the topography and the way it develops architectural form looks great. The materials used, such as stone, wood, glass, and brick, are inspired by Croatian ornaments and are often seen in Croatia, creating a sense of place.
The functional zoning of your project, including stores and cafes, a yacht club and pier, chill-out zones, and playground, provides a variety of activities for different users. The observation tower is a dominant feature that offers panoramic views, and the integration of an amphitheater into existing rocks is a creative solution. The central square with vocal fountains and a sundial provides an attractive gathering place for visitors.
From an economic perspective, the project offers the potential for generating revenue through commercial spaces and tourism activities. However, the project's scale may not be suitable for a city context, and it may not function well from a social perspective. I suggest considering ways to make the project more inclusive and accessible to a diverse group of users. Additionally, the design could incorporate sustainable principles and minimize negative impacts on the environment.
Overall, your project demonstrates creativity, innovation, and a strong understanding of the context. I encourage you to continue developing your skills further, and I wish you all the best in your future endeavours.
Sincerely,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hourakhsh Ahmad Nia, Alanya University, Turkey.
