Dear Mina Emad,
Firstly, I would like to congratulate you. I assume that you are still at the beginning of your architectural education. Therefore, I will provide you some advice.
If you are interested in designing such a structure, I recommend you to study both traditional Japanese architecture and contemporary examples that incorporate its principles into modern architecture. By examining traditional Japanese architectural elements, such as the use of natural materials, spatial organization, and the integration of indoor and outdoor spaces, you can gain valuable insights and inspiration for your own design. Additionally, exploring modern architectural projects that draw inspiration from Japanese design principles will provide you with contemporary approaches and techniques to create a harmonious and contextually sensitive design. Traditional Japanese architecture is characterized by simplicity, functionality, and a sense of tranquility and serenity. It is based on principles of simplicity, naturalness, and minimalism in spatial organization.
Additionally, I recommend you to explore Mies van der Rohe's designs such as Barcelona Pavilion and Farnsworth House and his design philosophies. This will allow you to delve deeper into his aesthetic principles, minimalist approach, and material choices. These resources and references will expand your design understanding and provide inspiration.
By examining those examples, ı think you will see the strong emphasis on harmony and integration with nature, where there is no distinct structural element separating the interior and exterior spaces.
Here are some of my recommendations regarding your drawings and plan solutions:
-Regardless of the type of building, it is crucial to have a clear understanding of the context.
-Environmental analyses are essential in order to identify the needs and to get the most benefit of the environmental conditions. However, there isnt any information about environment. This will greatly contribute to your success in your studies.
-The entrance of the house must be designed. The entrance to the house from the garden is the transition from a more general area to a more private one. Think the entrance as a transitional or preparation area for the entering the house or as a welcoming place.
-ı think you can remove the toilet next to the kitchen and also you can revise the toilet/bathroom solutions.
-There are some differences between the plan and the 3D model. It would be good to review your drawings.
- ı think there is a sunshade in the 3D model. I suggest you to ask whether it is necessary.
- Lastly, you need to work hard on 3D modeling and get better renders.
I wish you best for your future career.
