The idea of using a bicycle chain as inspiration for the project's shape, considering its location in a park surrounded by bike paths, shows a thoughtful connection to the environment and the activities taking place in the vicinity. The inclusion of a main room with a large circular table and a small island "kitchen" creates a functional space for meetings and gatherings. This layout fosters collaboration and allows for easy communication among club members.
The use of lightweight materials such as wood and polycarbonate aligns well with the project's intention for seasonal use during the summer months. This choice not only ensures ease of construction and dismantling but also promotes sustainability. Placing the wooden deck on metal piles further emphasizes the lightness of the building, making it blend seamlessly with the park environment.
The incorporation of load-bearing subtle wooden elements lined with wooden slats contributes to the aesthetic appeal of the structure. This combination provides a visually pleasing and natural appearance, enhancing the overall experience for the users.
The concept of a meeting space for local sport clubs within the park is promising and showcases a thoughtful connection to the surrounding environment
