It is one of the important projects because of its historically distinct architectural characteristics because it is located adjacent to the city center. The idea is good in terms of spaces and their distribution in relation to the function of the building.
However, I was hoping to pay attention to the unity of the architectural style of the building, which would enhance the building's connection with buildings in the city center fabric.
good luck
Dear Einas Atbouli,
Thank you for your input! To answer your concerns my choice to use a block as an achitectural form came from the cost of building. In Hungary the cost of human resources are the highest, and making a traditional form would need many wood workers and such. Builders and workers transfer to the neighbour countries because it is not a big distance and they have higher salaries there. It is an escalating problem with hungarian construction that there are less and less people working who are qualified. On the other hand, the goverment of the city has very little money as they are reducing in size every year and there are no big companies here who could pay taxes to the city. So I choose a form that could be built by less people in shorter time, and also from stronger materials as buildings are rarely renovated in hungary as this process does not bring money to the government.
Despite these factors, given the size of the building I would still choose a flat roof as the high roof would look unproportionate with the sorrounding buildings, more so as the community building I have planned stands near the detached housing aera that consist of small homes. The size of the building is given by the cinema/theather size that accomodates the city.
Thank you so much that you took the time and energy to reflect on my plan and I will consider your ideas next time I plan a building! Best of luck to you!
