It deserves appreciation for the idea and it's manifestation through architectural form which has deep root in Yemeni culture. The meaningful dialogue established among the tower, podium and the topography represents unity in formal expression. However, it requires explanation how huge glass surface can address climatic condition of Yemen.
Dear Mohammad Sazzad Hossain,
Thank you for your interest in my project, and I am pleased with your compliments and words about the project.
Regarding the huge glass surfaces on the facade of the tower, and how the climate condition can be dealt with, I will explain to you that the glass consists of two layers, an inner layer and an outer layer, with copper tubes of 1cm diameter between them, which work by passing water.
The flowing water is exposed to an air fan for cooling and is pumped through copper pipes from the base of the tower to the top of the tower in order to completely reduce the heat resulting from the sunlight shining on the glass surfaces.
I hope that the idea of huge glass roofs and addressing the climate situation in Yemen becomes clear to you.
