The project is beautiful in its incompleteness and mystery, it makes you think. This is also facilitated by the excellent visualization concept. It is both visual and atmospheric.
The idea of the ongoing revolution of the past, their continuous work on the minds of descendants, is very promising. However, the thesis about the presence of instructions for the correct “use” of the territory by the viewer is not fully disclosed. In what format are these instructions presented to you? Will it be a virtual reconstruction of the ruins, similar to a hologram? Or will it be an accompanying audio guide, simultaneously explaining exactly how to correctly carry out the process of interpretation and transformation of the contemplated elements of the past? What technologies were meant by the phrase “real or metaphorical control screens reflecting the concept of the relationship between map and territory”? Or is this nothing more than an allegory?
The project is striking in its global concept of overcoming the passive role of a city resident, of stimulating his creativity, of the influence of the Spirit of a place on the personal development of each inhabitant of the territory. But the idea of "an allegorical interpretation of fragments that can be used to create dreamscapes where multiple voices can be heard together, even if they speak from different times, different worlds," is presented somewhat vaguely. Still, to “launch” such a process, the viewer needs some preparedness, the communication of a certain cultural code to him, so that his orientation in space does not become destructive. The project mentions a reference search system for filtering information. This is a very important educational component. Therefore, I would like it to be given more attention in the concept.
The context of the “space of spectacle” fits organically into the historical basis of the territory. This is a very relevant move. But the very idea of a park as a “catalyst for revival” requires clarification in terms of prioritization. What are they? Is this a project for the limitless imagination of the visitor in accordance with his personal historical and modern preferences? Or is it assumed that the scenario for the use of the territory will include one priority historical direction: archaeology, ecology, equestrianism, Orthodox traditions, something else? What exactly is the priority to revive?
In general, the prospects of this development are undeniable. Such projects are relevant not only for the declared territory, but also for many historical centers. Therefore, in my opinion, the idea should be actively broadcast.
