The showroom design for Iris Van Herpen harmoniously combines innovation, creativity and functionality. The Iris Van Herpen clothes presented there gain a new setting that highlights their uniqueness and artistic value.
Right from the entrance, thanks to the reception desk inspired by the designer's work, visitors are introduced to the world of unusual forms and modern technologies. The welcome area, bar and rest areas ensure comfort for guests, and the thoughtful arrangement of dresses in the zone visible from the outside effectively attracts the attention of passers-by.
The central part of the showroom with displays leading to the stairs creates a coherent and interesting circulation route that naturally directs visitors to the VIP floor. There, a 3D printer and private salons where you can sew custom-made clothes demonstrate technological advancement and attention to the individual needs of the customer.
Despite the numerous advantages of the project, it is worth paying attention to the fact that the exhibition space itself, although undoubtedly impressive, could be designed a bit more restrained. A more minimalist approach to interior design could better highlight Iris Van Herpen's rich and complex designs, allowing them to fully dominate the space and focus visitors' attention on their finesse and details.
In conclusion, the showroom design for Iris Van Herpen is an outstanding work that deserves recognition for its innovation and aesthetics. However, a slightly more subdued background could have further emphasized the uniqueness of the presented creations, making the visitors' experience even more unforgettable.
Additionally, the technical development of the project presented in the competition could be more detailed. It would be good to work out the details of such a complicated structure.
