The design scheme is distinguished by its strong structural system, benefiting from reinforced concrete and strategically placed trusses to provide stability, ventilation, and daylight incorporation, these approaches are well defined. Merging the historic fabric with contemporary interventions is also appreciated in the design process, however, requires sensitive detailing so that the architectural integrity is retained as well. There exists significant potential for optimizing natural light and ventilation, promoting sustainability and enhancing indoor environmental quality. Streamlining circulation pattern in most of the space planning, accessibility, and crowd control will enhance the overall user experience during events and in peak hours occupancy. The main challenge is to ensure that contemporary upgrades do not compromise the historical significance of the building, so it is important to find a fine balance between preservation and innovation for an efficient, visually integrated design.
