Your master plan for the town of Brnenec presents a visionary and multi-faceted approach to urban renewal, addressing both the physical and social dimensions of the town. The incorporation of the 'Locus Axis' and 'Community Axis' reflects a deep understanding of the town's identity and community needs.
The technical feasibility of the plan is well-addressed, particularly with the sustainable construction methods and the integration of recycled materials. The proposal to create a central opening in the Schindler factory to facilitate passage and activity spaces is a practical solution to overcome its current limitations. The scaffolding structure linking the significant buildings is a thoughtful way to reconstruct memory and identity while providing physical connections.
Suggestions for Improvement:
Consider detailing how the plan will address potential challenges such as funding, phasing of development, and community engagement during implementation. Additionally, exploring ways to measure the success of the plan in terms of community satisfaction and sustainability outcomes can provide valuable feedback for future adjustments.
I encourage you to continue refining the master plan with a focus on detailed implementation strategies and community engagement. Your approach to enhancing both the physical and social fabric of Brnenec sets a strong foundation for creating a vibrant, sustainable community.
Dear Shanu Agarwal, we thank you for your feedback. It is very useful for us to continue with the project, since it is our final project to become architects. We would have liked to be able to graphically represent many of the ideas you proposed to us because in reality, the community has always been the central axis of this urban intervention. Of course, we will take into account all your recommendations and if you have any other suggestions, they are totally welcome.
Again, thank you very much.
Best regards, Emilia and Belén.
