The project's strength is the combination of TOD hub with the convenience of MRT connectivity, enhancing urban mobility and accessibility and promoting social interaction through the creation of mixed-use areas. Pedestrian movement management is difficult in the high-density environment of Dhaka, and reliance on transit efficiency may impact functionality. Chances are there will be a precedent of sustainable urbanization as green spaces, passive cooling, and cross-cultural exchange, but must be rid of risks including overcrowding, maintenance, and environmental risk factors to realize long-term success.
Recommendation Critique
For optimal benefit, the project should focus on unrestricted pedestrian flow, ensuring access without congestion and accessible public spaces. Commercial value and community access should be managed to avoid excessive commercialization. Green roofs and efficient water use must be built in to add environmental resilience. Versatile cultural and social space will also create more civic interaction. By enhancing these aspects, the development can serve as a model for future urban developments, making Dhaka a more integrated and livable city.
