This project has strong potential for further development. In my opinion, its strengths include: 1. A carefully designed functional solution, expertly adapted to the landscape and harmoniously inserted into the natural topography, 2. The use of local material and the sensitivity to the local environment with a clear awareness of sustainable design, 3. The combination of traditional and modern construction techniques, reflecting a cautious attitude toward the local architectural heritage but with the inclusion of contemporary methods, 4. The structure and form of the building, unostentatious but effective, with particular attention to the balance between functionality and beauty.
The shortcomings are as follows: 1. There is no clear urban analysis explaining how the idea of extending the spaces in relation to the terrain was developed, 2. There is no evident analysis regarding the use of space by people with disabilities, 3. The project lacks technical/service spaces necessary for kitchen supply and maintenance, 4. Do you think the use of these houses by elderly people would be manageable with only stairs, or would it be more appropriate to consider the inclusion of a ramp or an elevator for easier access?
Project Evaluation: Between Medium and High.
