In the heart of Opava, on Horní náměstí, an innovative cultural and educational pavilion is emerging, aiming to transform an unused urban space into a modern community center. This project combines sustainability, technological innovations, and social interaction, creating a place that fosters knowledge sharing, inspiration, and community gatherings. By integrating advanced construction technologies and ecological solutions, the pavilion will become a symbol of the city's progressive approach to urban development and cultural enrichment.

The pavilion is designed as a dynamic, multifunctional space that harmoniously interacts with its surroundings. The architectural design utilizes organic forms enabled by 3D-printed concrete technology, providing flexibility in the interior spatial organization. The structure comprises several interconnected zones, with the ground floor opening directly to the public square, promoting accessibility and community engagement. The upper levels include an interactive rooftop terrace with panoramic city views, serving as an educational and recreational area.

The three key interior areas of the pavilion are the library, information center, and coffee area. The library offers an open environment for study and literary exploration. The information center gives visitors insights into the city's historical and cultural heritage. The coffee area complements this ecosystem as a place for informal gatherings in an inspiring setting.

The coffee´s interior harmoniously blends modern design with natural elements, creating an inspiring and cozy atmosphere for visitors. The walls feature the authentic texture of 3D-printed concrete, adding an industrial character that also serves as an artistic element. Specially designed curved benches with integrated planters, also made from 3D-printed concrete, provide comfortable seating while introducing greenery directly into the space. The biophilic design is further emphasized by a moss artwork that includes storage space for books and a mirror, promoting relaxation and a connection to nature. A standout feature is the bar with a large, multi-level marble countertop—its lower section caters to guests. At the same time, the elevated part is designated for bartenders, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Strategically placed skylights allow natural light to flood the interior, complementing the wooden flooring and ceiling clad in wooden paneling to create a warm and inviting ambiance. Each table is illuminated by circular pendant lights, providing intimate lighting. An innovative touch is found in the bar's upper shelves, which are designed as planters for climbing plants that will eventually drape gracefully above patrons seated at the bar, transforming the interior into a living organism full of greenery and life.

The pavilion integrates state-of-the-art 3D-printed concrete technology, allowing for complex architectural geometries while minimizing material waste. Key ecological features include:
