Work description
FKH has a large collection of scientific articles, books, periodicals, conference proceedings and its own and third-party study reports on technical issues relating to high-voltage equipment and their interaction in networks. In its consultancy work for the electrical industry, we regularly have to carry out literature research and explain technical issues in reports. Both the research task and the formulation of the test blocks for these studies are currently time-consuming and should be simplified in future. We aim to make the knowledge and formulations in the articles and FKH reports more efficiently usable using today's AI tools. The tool should be able to generate an answer text section to a text-based question “e.g.: Explain to me how high-voltage arresters work when used for gas pipelines”. In addition to the answer, the relevant sources that were consulted to find the answer should be listed with a link. This should enable the user to read the source documents in order to validate the quality of the generated answer text.Your tasksYou will develop an AI tool for the benefit of FKH's test engineers and will be supported by AI experts from BSI. - Familiarization with the topic and creation of a specification sheet - Structuring the task into functional blocks and researching the suitability of existing tools to cover the blocks- Creation of the tool by integrating usable functional blocks and programming missing blocks- Data preparation and parameterization of the model- Testing the tool, improving the output quality- Documentation and optimization of user-friendliness
