Work description

Biosciences Intern : Title Of The Project: iPSC-Derived Cardiomyocytes: Training in Differentiation Techniques and Functional Analysis Work Desciption: 1. This project focuses on training students in the derivation and functional analysis of cardiomyocytes from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). Students will participate in iPSC culture and optimize protocols for cardiomyocyte differentiation. 2. The project offers hands-on experience in immunocytochemistry to assess cardiac-specific markers, as well as functional assays such as calcium imaging and contractility analysis. 3. Additionally, students will learn data analysis, interpretation, and gain exposure to scientific writing and presentations. 4. By the end of the project, students will have acquired essential skills in iPSC culture, cardiomyocyte differentiation, and functional characterization. Expected Outcome : 1. Proficiency in iPSC culture and cardiomyocyte differentiation. 2. Enhanced scientific writing and presentation abilities.
